Is GLISS'N safe for my hair?
We wouldn’t dare risk safety for beauty. Harmful chemicals just don’t do it for us. Healthy ingredients that keep your hair as beautiful as you, like aloe and pigments from nature? That’s what we’re about.
Is GLISS'N sulfate, paraben, and silicone-free?
Of course! Our formulas contain ZERO sulfates, parabens, or silicones. No bleach, no peroxide, and no (ew!) ammonia. Nothing harsh. Nothing scary. Just good hair energy.
Is this a permanent color change or do I have to keep using it?
I mean, who wants to commit to one color forever? GLISS'N is not permanent and washes out over time. Meant to maintain and enhance the color you already have, if you stop using GLISS'N, your hair will slowly return to its natural tone.

Is this meant to change my hair color or just enhance it?

How long does the color last?
Nothing good lasts forever, amiright? This is temporary color that gradually fades. It depends on how often you wash and the products you use, but for most people, it lasts one to four washes. Lighter-haired gals will always show more toning than dark!
Will it stain my hands or shower?
It IS color, so there’s a chance! Much like using self-tanner, rinse your hands after applying and don’t let it come into contact with light surfaces or towels if you can help it. Cat-like reflexes (we know you have them), hot water, and soap usually keep happy little accidents from having lasting effects.
Is it a gloss too?
It sure is! With natural conditioning ingredients, all GLISS'N products leave your hair softer, smoother, and shinier. Get that fresh-glossed look without the salon price tag, and only add color if you want!
How do I use it?
We know you don’t like to be told what to do. But can we suggest? Using the amount you normally would of your fave conditioner, add your desired amount of GLISS'N and mix well. Doing it in the palm of your hand? Great! Cute little bowl you got in Cabo? Perfect! There are no rules here!
Can I mix it with my own conditioner?
Wow! Smart AND beautiful. You hit the nail on the head. Pair our serum with whatever conditioner your hair already loves to GLISS'N up.
Do I mix it with the whole bottle of conditioner?
Eh, only if you’re brave. And wasteful. We suggest toeing the line just a tad more here. Mix it up in single-use amounts to control your color and keep the results consistent.
Is there any conditioner it will not work with?
GLISS'N plays nicely with nearly all conditioners. But no one can get along with everyone, so if your conditioner is very dark or watery, your results may not be as predictable. If it gives a weird vibe when mixed, we suggest finding a new conditioner you love.
Does it work on all hair types?
No two women are alike. From hair to hormones, we are unique. So is GLISS'N. It works whether your hair is straight or curly, wavy or coily. All textures, all colors. But if you are sensitive or freshly bleached, a quick strand test isn’t a bad idea!
Can I apply it straight to my hair?
That depends on just how bold you are. But really, these concentrated drops are designed to pair with your conditioner for the best and most even results.
Will it change my underlying color?
We’re not here to make you someone you aren’t. You’re awesome just the way you are. GLISS'N will not change your underlying color.
Is it permanent?
No, it washes out over time. No grow-out line and no commitment!
Can I mix different shades?
So you want to be a mixologist? Go, you! No one knows your hair better than you, so mix away. Get creative, and find the combination that is as unique as your hair! As more shades are released, you can continue to experiment with the color-depositing options.
What is the Clear Gloss Serum (Pure Gliss)?
This one is your shine booster and color balancer. It does not change your hair color in any way. It adds shine, softness, and smoothness while making your hair look healthier and more polished.
You can use it on its own for max shine, or mix it with any of the color drops to make the tone more sheer and customized. Maybe your hair color is fine, but your ends are looking dull, dry, or faded and you just want everything to look fresh again. That’s where Pure Gliss comes in! Low effort, simple to use, and makes your hair look like you tried (even when you did not). It’s that fresh-glossed look without the salon visit!
What exactly is the Purple Toner (Platinum Behavior)?
This toning and shine serum helps cancel out yellow and brassy tones in blonde, highlighted, gray, or light hair using specific pigments. It does not chemically change your hair. It simply deposits tone. It’s like makeup for your hair!
Will the purple turn my hair purple?
As cool as that is, not if you use it correctly. Platinum Behavior is there to tone, not dye. But if your hair is extremely light or porous and you go overboard, you might find yourself leaning a little more violet than you intended! We recommend starting with a small amount and building up if needed.
Do any of your products cover gray hair?
The purple toner (Platinum Behavior) is not meant to fully cover gray like permanent dye. It does help brighten gray and remove yellow tones, so it looks clean and fresh. But if you’re adamant about keeping the gray away, our color-enhancing serums, So Deep and Double Shot, will do the job. Say you have brunette hair with some greys, you just GLISS'N yourself up and cover those pesky little suckers.
Can I mix the Clear and Purple together?
The beauty of GLISS’N is that YOU control your look. You can definitely customize the Platinum Behavior and make it more sheer by adding Pure Gliss!
How long should I leave it on?
Platinum Behavior: Start with a short amount of time, especially if your hair is very light.
You can always add more next time. You cannot undo over-toning.
Double Shot & So Deep (and future colors!): 10-15 minutes is long enough, but if your hair is light brown, I would recommend starting with 5-8mins and adjust from there!
Pure Gliss:
How often can I use it?
Platinum Behavior: Use it whenever the brass rears her ugly head. Maybe that’s once a week, or maybe it’s once a month… but you do not need it every wash!
Double Shot & So Deep (and future colors!): you can use these as much as you want or need! Can be every wash, every other, or once a month; you’re the boss lady, so it’s totally up to you and how you want to maintain your hair color.
Pure Gliss:
Can I use it on bleached or colored hair?
Absolutely, it works great on bleached and highlighted hair! Just be aware that lighter hair grabs pigment faster.
- Blondes: Platinum Behavior (toning + shine serum)
- Brunettes/dark hair=Double Shot/So Deep (color depositing serum)
DO NOT USE DARK COLORS ON LIGHT HAIR.
Can I use it on extensions?
Usually, yes, for human hair extensions at least. Always do a strand test first. But we can’t promise we’ve tried it on non-human hair (not that we’re judging if you’ve made extensions from llama hair; in fact, we’re impressed!), so a strand test is recommended.
How long will a bottle last?
It depends on how much you use per application and how often you use it. Each bottle contains about 30 average applications but varies based on hair length, porosity, and overall color/shine needs.
